Hasbro Studios Earns Eight Daytime Emmy® Award Nods for ‘Transformers Prime,' ‘My Little Pony' & ‘Family Game Night'
‘Transformers Prime' Also Collects Early Emmy®
for Outstanding Individual Achievement
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Hasbro
Studios, the Los Angeles-based production and distribution division
of Hasbro,
Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS), has collected eight Daytime Emmy®
Award nominations from the National Academy of Television Arts &
Sciences for Transformers Prime, My Little Pony:
Friendship Is Magic and Family Game Night.
The Academy also provided Transformers Prime with an early trophy
for "Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation," as well as
multiple nominations in three additional categories: "Outstanding
Special Class Animated Program," "Outstanding Directing in an Animated
Program" and "Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing—Animation."
The popular series My Little Pony earned two nods in the
"Outstanding Original Song- Children's and Animation" category, while Family
Game Night host Todd Newton garnered his second consecutive
nomination for "Outstanding Game Show Host."
